Sweet Home Real Estate, a trusted real estate team based in Cochrane, Alberta, came to Modern Form Creative as they transitioned from a well-established solo brand to a united team identity. Formerly known as Kendra Watt Realty, the group needed a fresh brand and website that would reflect their collaborative, community-first values while honouring their local reputation. Together with copywriter Anika Rose Writes, we crafted a warm and professional identity — complete with a new name, logo, website, and marketing collateral — to help them confidently launch this next chapter.

Objective:
Sweet Home Real Estate needed a brand and website that would honour their evolution from a solo agent identity to a collaborative team model — while maintaining the strong local reputation built under the Kendra Watt name. The goal was to create an approachable yet professional visual identity rooted in their values of trust, community, and connection, and to deliver a digital presence that made clients feel confident and cared for from the first click.

Challenges:

  • The old brand colours closely mirrored CIR Realty’s palette, which required careful navigation to ensure the new visual identity felt distinct and ownable for the team

  • The signage needed to be highly legible from a distance, which required a logo that was bold and clear

  • The logo also needed a partner version that could sit alongside the CIR Realty logo without competing visually

  • The existing brand lacked cohesion and didn’t represent their warm, community-first values

  • Their online presence felt outdated and didn’t build immediate trust with potential clients

  • Needed to balance a professional image with approachability and heart

 
 
 

Our Solution:

  • Brand Identity: We created a warm, community-rooted brand identity using strategy-informed design choices. Inspired by the iconic Grandfather Tree and the heart of Cochrane, the logo reflects the idea of putting down roots and building lasting connections. The circular design reinforces community, while the type and colour choices balance professionalism with approachability.

  • Key Messaging: developed the brand statement and tagline to clearly reflect the team’s values and voice — positioning Sweet Home as a group deeply rooted in Cochrane and focused on creating connection, trust, and a sense of belonging. The tagline, Helping you put down roots, one home at a time, reinforces their heart-led approach to real estate.

  • SEO + Website Copy: Collaborated closely with Anika Rose Writes to implement clear, heartfelt website messaging that reflects the team’s local expertise, values, and personality. Anika conducted keyword research and wrote the copy with SEO best practices in mind, while I implemented on-site SEO, including page titles and meta descriptions, to support discoverability and search relevance.

  • Custom Squarespace Website Design & Development: Designed and built a custom Squarespace website that is clean, modern, and user-friendly. The site guides visitors through the team’s services, values, and listings while building trust through an intuitive layout and consistent tone. We also supported the integration of MyRealPage listings by identifying and configuring a custom widget that embeds their listings directly on the site — streamlining the user experience and allowing the team to showcase properties without managing updates manually.

  • Collateral Design: Applied the new brand across marketing materials, including real estate signage and business cards. We also designed a partner logo that sits alongside the CIR Realty logo, ensuring brand consistency without competing visually. All signage was built to ensure legibility from the street.

  • Social Media Branding: Designed branded Canva templates and provided usage guidelines to support a cohesive Instagram presence. These templates help the team easily share testimonials, updates, and listings in a way that aligns with their new look.

  • Email Marketing Strategy: Supported launch planning and email marketing strategy in collaboration with Anika Rose Writes, who wrote a thoughtful rebrand announcement series to help ease the transition and communicate their story with clarity and care

Results Achieved
Sweet Home Real Estate now has a cohesive and elevated brand that reflects who they are — a trusted, experienced, and heart-forward team rooted in community. Their website feels like a natural extension of their client experience, showcasing their listings, values, and team with professionalism and warmth.
